For Lille's first McGregor attempted a crazy pass back from 40 yards out which was intercepted and Lille pushed forward. Laxalt couldn't catch Ikone despite giving him a start and when the ball was cut back to him he scored from 6 yards. For their second a free kick was headed by Duffy as Jullien missed it but it landed to Weah and Elyounoussi couldn't stop him from scoring.
Turnbull set up Celtic's first, Frimpong won a penalty for the 2nd and Ajer set up the third.
Celtic had a xG of 1.30 while Lille had a xG of 1.60

Again Celtic changed formation and back to a 4231. Hazard came in for his debut and Soro came in for his first start. Also coming in were Duffy, Turnbull, Elyounoussi and Klimala. Dropped/rested were Barkas, Bitton, Brown, Christie, Rogic and Edouard. Forrest was still unavailale. Bitton and Christie didn't make the bench.

Welsh, Henderson, Ajeti and Rogic all came on as subs, with Henderson making his first appearance of the season. After 25 consecutive games this season this is the first that Brown had no involvement in.
Key note - Celtic's total passes and pass % were the worst this season with % possession, touches and final third passes were the second worst after the other Lille game.
