Celtic's first away match of the season and 2 points dropped. Celtic scored early on in the game but could only keep the lead for 13 minutes.


Christie was Celtic's best player with 4 shots at goal and goal direct from a free kick outside the box.

Christie also had 2 key passes in the game. 1 for Forrest in 44mins which gave Forrest a shot in the box and 1 for McGregor in 66mins which resulted in a shot from outside the box.


McGregor was again key in the game with 114 touches and 93% pass accuracy and Taylor was also active with 105 toches.


Celtic had an NP xG of only 1.05 while Kilmarnock's was only 0.39.


Celtic had a lowly 2 shots on target the whole game from 15 shots in total. Possession was 70% (down from 81% the previous week) although this was an away game on a plastic pitch. Passing accuracy was down from last week but still decent at 86%. Celtic only had 2 corners and touches in the box were 27.


Kilmarnock's goal came from a penalty with the penalty being given away by Jullien.


The only change from the previous week's team was Barkas in goal to make his debut.

A key positive from the game was Celtic completing 34 crosses.
