Celtic's first was when Elyounoussi scored the rebound after Ajeti's shot hit the post. Ajeti winning the ball by pressing Motherwell's centre backs. Elyounoussi then scored Celtic's second after a cut back from Rogic. Celtic's third was a header from Elyounoussi from an Elhamed cross.


Motherwell then pulled one back when Gallagher out jumped Bitton to head home a long diagonal free kick from just inside Celtic's half. Bain's positioning was questionable again.


Celtic's fourth was a cut back in the box from Edouard to Ntcham.

Ajer was back from injury and replaced Duffy who was dropped for the first time. Ajeti came in for Edouard who was dropped. Jullien and Forrest were still out injured.
